The Bridge CDC is a 501(c)3 tax exempt nonprofit organization that is committed to improving lives by reducing socio-economic barriers by creating strategic collaborations throughout Richmond, VA.

Why is there a need for the English as a Second Language Collaborative Network (ECN) ? A language barrier for foreign born residents can result in limited access to vital services such as education, healthcare, child-care, transportation, and employment opportunities. This can create a variety of economic, social, and health challenges, limiting this individual's or family's quality of life. The Bridge CDC believes that the most effective solution is a city-wide support system for all ESL providers that focuses on communication, collaboration and results.
